History of the Pricipality
In 2017 a new micronation was founded by the name of The Holy Empire of the Moon with territorial claims in Hawaii. At its peak later that year, citizens and residents numbered over 80. After the dissolution of that micronation due to excessive strain from constant conflict with other sovereigns such as the Metropolis of Fidelis and Austenasia, many wondered when the empire would rise again.
It wouldn't be until 2019 that the Principality of the Antipodes would rise from the ashes with territorial claims over the Antipodes Islands which is currently uninhabited. The current government, a constitutional monarchy, has said that at founding the new sovereigns counted over 150 supporters of the fledgling micronation.
It wouldn't until later that the principality revealed that the motivation for establishing the micronation was to have a place where the citizens could freely practice the occultism native to this land only; a homegrown field of study.
